  • What is the Barakah Parenting Program?
Barakah Parenting is a recorded, 8 week experience rooted in the NeuroHarmonic Family Method™ (see below for more info). It’s designed for families raising neurodivergent children and combines neuroscience, positive psychology, and Islamic spiritual wisdom to help you parent with calm, connection, and trust.
  • What is the The NeuroHarmonic Family Methodâ„¢?
The NeuroHarmonic Family Method™ is a unique, science-backed and spiritually-rooted framework for parenting neurodivergent children. It blends the latest research in neuroscience and polyvagal theory with sacred Islamic principles to help families grow in harmony, connection, and trust. Developed for families navigating autism, ADHD, sensory sensitivities, and other forms of neurodivergence, the method is grounded in five core pillars: 1. Regulation We begin with the nervous system. When parents learn to regulate their own bodies, they become safe anchors for their children. This pillar teaches body-based tools for calm, co-regulation, and stress recovery. 2. Repair All relationships experience rupture—but healing comes through intentional repair. This pillar equips parents with tools for restoring connection, modeling emotional humility, and teaching mercy after conflict. 3. Sacred Neurotypes Your child’s brain is not broken—it’s sacred. This pillar reframes neurodivergence through a strengths-based, spiritually affirming lens. It helps parents embrace their child’s design with curiosity, not correction. 4. Rhythms Routines can soothe—but only when they’re responsive. This pillar shows parents how to build flexible rhythms that support regulation, connection, and ease without becoming rigid or overwhelming. 5. Stewardship Parenting is a sacred trust. This final pillar calls parents into their divine role as stewards of their child’s soul and the wider family ecosystem. It invites legacy healing, intentionality, and spiritual alignment.
  • Who is this program for?
This program is for parents/caregivers of autistic, ADHD, sensory-sensitive, or otherwise neurodivergent children. Whether you are newly navigating a diagnosis or seeking a more spiritually aligned and science-informed parenting path, this program will meet you with compassion and clarity.
  • Do I need to have a diagnosis for my child to benefit?
No formal diagnosis is needed. This program is designed for any parent who suspects or knows their child experiences the world differently and wants to support them with empathy, structure, and heart.
  • How is this different from other parenting courses?
Barakah Parenting is built on five unique pillars of the NeuroHarmonic Family Method™—Regulation, Repair, Sacred Neurotypes, Rhythms, and Stewardship. We integrate cutting-edge neuroscience with Sufi parenting wisdom, offering tools that are both practical and spiritually rooted. This sets us apart from other programs which do not take the soul of parenting into account.
  • Is this program live or pre-recorded?
This is a pre-recorded, evergreen program designed for you to move through at your own pace over 8 weeks (6 modules plus 2 integration weeks). You can revisit the lessons and practices anytime as you have lifetime access.
  • What’s included in the program?
6 in-depth teaching modules A printable companion workbook Integration practices and du’as A downloadable Family Vision Workbook Guided audio du'as and meditations. • Is this aligned with Islamic teachings?
Absolutely. Every module begins with Bismillah (in the name of God) and integrates Islamic principles, prophetic parenting wisdom, and spiritual reflection. The entire program is designed to help you see your parenting as a sacred act of worship and amanah (trust).
  • Is this program only for Muslim families?
Not at all! Though the principles are faith-based, they are applicable to most spiritual wisdom traditions (i.e. compassion, mercy, love, and empathy). Also, there are alternate secular practices given for the Sufi ones.
